'England recovered from being 2-0 down after goals from Thomas Helmer and Fredi Bobic with goals from Les Ferdinand and Alan Thompson, to end the first half 2-2. England won the game after a second half penalty from Alan Shearer with 11 minutes to go'

Thanks for the score.
Watched a few of the tribute programmes on Robson. Everyone liked him.

Thanks very much for your sympathy everyone. My sister took it hard but she seems to be abit better now.
As for me, it has hit me but this is about the 8th death i've had to deal with so I kinda know the motions and keep myself to myself about it and support my sister.

I never knew you had a sister, Captain! :o You'll have to tell us about her some time in another thread.

My aunt died yesterday. Not totally unexpected though. :(

Yes, well, half sister - she lives with her mum in London and is 16yrs old. We have the same dad. We always just say we're brother and sister rather than explaining it all out to everyone because we get on really really well and she talks to me when she has problems etc. Asked me for advice when she got her first boyfriend etc.

Sorry to hear about your aunt, that is sad :(

I'm sorry about your aunt, Snail, she really wasn't very old.

And it's true what you say about us oldies being more used to it than the youngsters are, but it still leaves a gap in our lives.
