Ah yeah, I remember him! Quite a character.
Remember how the runway lights looked one night long ago when you were lost and found your way, and how-you still dont know?

It is poppy day, so its time to remember all them troops who have passed away over the years and given their lives so we can live our own.

It's my dad's first anniversary today, I love you, dad.

I'm only posting this because I've lost a couple of friends in the last few months, haven't been pulling my weight on PP for ages, and PPers have been fantastic with me...

...Which just proves that a) anybody can come on here with any sort of problem, and b) PPers bend over backwards to help anyody, without judging them.

And this explains why I can never leave PP, even if i don't do my job properly just now; PPers really are the best folk on the planet, that's my completely unbiased opinion! :D

It's not an anniversary of someone passing away.
My friend died when we were 15 of Leukemia. He had all his treatment and was back at school and doing really well. Me and my best friend saw him on the Tuesday, and by the Wednesday morning he'd passed away in his sleep.

Everything from that day to his funeral is a blur. His funeral was amazing. Over 200 people turned up and not all of them could fit in the church.
His wake was a wine bar (Not THAT posh, think dodgy and trashy and thats our wine bar) in our home town and our School Head of Year was there to 'represent' the school. She told us all that she expected us all back in school in half an hour. Our frends Mum told her that we were all welcome and she didn't want us to leave. I think we made her feel close to him again. So we spent the rest of the afternoon and most of the evening telling her stories about what he used to do in school that she never knew about.

The reason i'm here is because I had a dream about him last night. In my dream he wasnt 15, he was our age, 22/23. He looked soooo handsome and healthy. I felt honoured that he was my friend.
But I feel ever so strange now. I feel like to need to tell everyone in my year at school about the dream.
Because I feel like I should be telling them that he's ok. He's happy where he is and he's not hurting anymore.
The only way I can do that is through Facebook and I dont think thats the right sort of thing to be posting your status lol.

So thats why I'm here.

I'm remembering Luke 'Eddie' Edwards. Miss you baby. xxxx
You know you're a mum when the thought of food shopping alone becomes exciting.

When you and your significant other are having an argument, just take all of your clothes off during the spat and stand there. Something is bound to happen!! =]
