PMs

Postby ILoveChristmas » Wed Mar 10, 2010 12:06 pm

Hi awsome mods,

Quick question about PMs. I've sent one and it's appearing in my 'Outbox' rather than my 'Sent Messages' box. Has it gone or do I need to do something else to send it on its way?

Hey

I know i'm not a mod or anything but thought i'd post a quick reply. I think when you send the message it stays in "outbox" until the person you've sent it to has read it. After they've read it, it changes to "sent messages"

Not 100% sure about this and i'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong but i think this is what happens.

Hi Jen,

Thanks for the reply. That seems to make sense, as I do have other messages that appear in my 'sent messages' folder.

I notice you're a fellow Scot! What part of the country are you in?

Ah yes I remember that username.

I'm from a little town called Troon, which is near Ayr. I work up in Glasgow though, so not all that far from you!

There's someone else on the forum who's from Glasgow.

Cool

I've heard of troon but only been through it once on the train. I know Glasgow quite well though.

ha ha yeah snail i meant on the little thing under the avatar.

Yeah regional meets sound good in theory but if they did happen, there would only be three of us there for our region! lol

Just tick the box next to the PM you want to delete, then select "Delete Marked" from the drop-down box at the bottom right, the one that shows "Mark/Unmark as important" as the first option.
