Moving Week!

Postby rufio89 » Thu Aug 26, 2010 6:09 pm

Hello All,

Just a quick update on my moving situation!

I moved all my furniture in and most of my stuff yesterday and I'm finishing up the rest of it tomorrow. Mr Rufio is also moving his stuff in tomorrow.

Now the furniture is in it's starting to look and feel really homey, I'm excited!

It's a bit annoying that we've moved this weekend as we get paid on Tuesday so we are both completely broke and unable to buy anything for our house, whoops!

I hope everyone is ok. I will be quiet over the next couple of week as apparently it takes sky 14 days to install internet (grrr!)

Ahhh, good luck with everything Rufio.

As a side note, why does everyone buy you candles when you move in a new house? I have gazzilions of the things! From litte tea lights to a MASSIVE one that takes up half the coffee table! :o
You know you're a mum when the thought of food shopping alone becomes exciting.

When you and your significant other are having an argument, just take all of your clothes off during the spat and stand there. Something is bound to happen!! =]

That is a very good question, Lemon :-? I also have gazillions of candles. Maybe the givers think we're likely to have a lot of power cuts? Which isn't really very complimentary :-k

Maybe it's because everyone gives candles, so people use moving as an excuse to punt them off to some other unlucky sod haha.

Personally i'm rather fond a nice candle flickering away.

P.S This is my 300th post and i'm somewhat disappointed, nay, upset to discover nothing flashed, made a noise or otherwise made me feel welcomed and special

Come round to my place, ILC, and I'll flash something and make you feel welcomed and special. There may also be noises involved as well

Purely as part of my duties as a mod, of course. :-"

After having a pretty poo day, those last couple of posts have cheered me right up.

So on that basis, I think Snail should reconsider!
