I know 2 stone is probably a bit much, Im probably spending too much time watching films of 8-stone angels!

I've put on about a stone this year and I'm really fed up with it. It's probably more a self-esteem thing than anything because people do sometimes say I have a good figure but I just feel like theyre lying! I have big boobs, that's about the only good thing lol.

I'm trying to just stop eating so much - I eat beyond the point that I'm full a lot of the time just because I dont like leaving food on my plate, or I wolf my food down and eat too much before I realise I'm full.

I'm trying to do more excersise, but it doesnt seem to be doing anything. I'm walking 5 miles a day (4 days a week at least) for the last 3 months and it's done bother all!

This is exactly what i do. Plus i love food so that probably plays a part in it as well.

To be completely honest, i didn't do any exercise at all on my diet. Apart from taking the dog to the park i did sod all. Plus i sit at a desk all day at work.

I should probably do more exercise as i really need to tone due to my skin being quite loose round my arms etc.

My husband does all the things you describe.
Firstly cook less and put less on your plate. Try to chew slowly as your body recognises it's eating and you will feel full up more quickly.
Be more thoughtful about eating every time you go to eat anything.
You can change this but you are going to have to put some effort in and not hae what i call "f**k it attacks"
The wlaking will help if you stop eating so much. You would be even bigger if you weren't walking because you will be taking in far too many calories
"I can make you thin" by Paul McKenna explains how skinny people don't get fat and I think his theories are very good.

I think the last time I posted a picture was 3 years ago so it's high time I posted another!

These are a couple from a photoshoot I had earlier in the month

Aaaaah, Jess - in my head, all the young PPers stay the same age for ever (as I do... :^o ).

But in real life, you grow up into beautiful swans. *snivel*.

Do you remember how you felt when you first came on to PP? And can you compare it with how you feel now? I bet there's a massive difference - except that we'd probably still squabble over which flavour ice cream we're going to shove in the PP freezer...

Lots of love

I think you've been 100 for the past 6 years Pee!! :D

A lot has changed in 6 years (can't believe I've been on PP for that long!!) I lived in a different country for half of that time!

There's never usually any icecream left by the time I get there so the flavours don't particularly matter!! :P :D

Thanks for the compliments =D xx

I havent posted a pic for ages so I thought i'd post this one as I dont think i've posted this and it really is the most recent pic of me.. taken in September 2010. This took considerable effort to get right! I'm on the left.. on a flight where me and my friend took it in turns to take pics and fly the plane..

I always think it's funny when people post pics of themselves, people never look at all how I imagine them in my head!! :)

I understand what you mean. We build up a mental image of someone through their posts and then when we see a photo it can be surprising.

That's so true. I'm a 6' 3" bricklayer with a Brummie accent and hairy knuckles, but I'm not sure if my posts convey that.

This has to be the best looking forum I've seen on the internet, certainly no problem pages here. :P
