Shaving and waxing would be my main one too!

But also, it doesn't matter if you put on a bit of weight.
You can concentrate on your career if you want to.
You don't have to pretend to like things that you're not interested in.
How we spend our days is how we spend our lives.

*sigh* I know...that was a weird one. Another time, he shouted at me because I called him when I came home from seeing my friends (he asked me to so he knew I was OK) and he was busy. I got home and cried, because he was so mean to me that night. And for no reason.

So if I ever date again (a bit if that this stage) I'd like to be with someone a little more easy going.

Haha...I've been shaving my legs about once a week.

Keeps me warm at night.

How odd. Why would they do that? Does anyone stay up til 2am watching it?

He does sound like he was bad for you in the end, but atleast you can do as you please now and one day find someone who appreciates you. :)

haha I can't remember why they changed it, I know there was some complaints about it. Um sometimes I watch the late night omnibus not rarely.

How does waxing keep you warm at night?
Remember how the runway lights looked one night long ago when you were lost and found your way, and how-you still dont know?

Positives about NOT being in a relationship!

I think that you had a lucky escape here... I know you love him but he shouted at you for doing as he asked....

Put this down in your reasons it's a good thing.

I also think being able to have what you want for dinner every night is a good thing.

Being able to buy things when you want. (new shoes anyone?)

Haha...well waxing wouldn't but if my legs are fuzzy then it helps with warmth. :D

He could be very difficult sometimes, I've written a few posts about it. But I did still love him. :(

If we get any more winters like the last few, then I might start growing it from September onwards.

Grim, I know.

haha, I tend to keep up on my shaving when Im single, but I wear skirts for work a lot and wouldnt want people seeing my hairy legs! (not so great at maintaining the bikini-area though, haha).

Positives on being single (stolen some of yours HLC):

Getting home and getting straight into my jogging bottoms (also not caring if there's a little stain on my top).
Staying in bed all morning without anyone hassling me/saying I'm being lazy
Being able to cook whatever I want and not having to accomodate fussy eaters
Being able to do whatever I want, every night
Being able to flirt with strangers
Being able to go on dates
Saving up for holidays and making plans with friends. My friend and I are doing lots of 'no boys allowed' trips at the moment.
Not having to live out of an overnight bag going between houses!
Not having to sleep at anyone elses house/being in my own bed every night
Not having to share a bed every night (I like the company maybe one night a week, but the rest of the time I want my space!!)
Not considering anyone else in my future plans!

EDIT: I thought of more (feeling really quite anti-men at the moment!)
(not all my boyfriend have done this by the way, but it has happened. or with people I've dated briefly)
Not having anyone telling you what to wear (I nearly smacked my ex for this, I do NOT dress provocatively, I was just wearing a v-neck top and I have big boobs!)
Not having anyone check up on you when you go out (where are you? who are you with? what time are you home?)
Noone leaving their dirty socks/smelly towel on the floor
Noone leaving stubble on the sink
Not arguing over who's going to wash up
Not arguing about anything!
Not having to pretend you dont care about the little niggles in your relationship
Not having to pretend Im more ladylike than I am!
I can spend as much time with my family and friends as I like
No judgements from friends/family about my awful taste in men (haha)

There are things I miss about being in a relationship and I should have a date on Saturday, but if it doesnt work out/it gets cancelled, I really dont care! I'm feeling good about being on my own at the moment, relationships just seem like unnecessary drama! I honestly think the only thing I miss about a relationship at the moment is sex! (and there are tools for that ;) haha)

Oo, another one. Wearing old underwear that doesn't match and knowing no one will see it (unless you get hit by a bus of course, but to be honest, if I were under a bus I wouldn't really care about my underwear I think).

I agree with that one too.

Also, being able to text who you want without anyone asking who's texting you.
