Eastenders

Post by highlandcow » Thu Jul 19, 2012 7:36 pm

Does anyone else want to slap Lola Mitchell in the gob?

Grr...she's cooking my swede! What kind of mother is she going to be!?

OK...I know it's not real, but still!

Ahh, excellent, somebody else has noticed that then, I thought it was just me. I've packed in watching it now but she really did grind my gears. YouTube is far more entertaining these days.

Brat! I'm about *this* close to throwing a slipper at the telly when she comes on.

Well that's a win for the actress then, who's possibly a really nice person off camera but does a great job on the stage so to speak. Have to question the wisdom of the writers though, creating characters that make people stop watching their programme haha.

Maybe it's one of those "love to hate" characters..

Definitely more a "hate to see" character from my point of view.

I know, right!

Shirley Carter winds me up too. Your skirts are too short! Put it away...

Not to mention the one Ian Beale was going to get married to before she ran off on him, was a little more bearable to watch when she left. Christ, I've really got to fill my life with something more meaningful than Eastenders!

Actually I just watched the one where Lola had the baby on iPlayer. I'll admit to having a tear in my eye.

I don't know really, it was just a bit moving.

Oh dear...I need to man up.
