:grouphug:

Too many things happening at once, not nice.

Try and keep focused on your studies, that's obviously something really worthwhile and will hopefully lead to a good job too.

It's good to hear from you anyway though, Captain; I was wondering what you were doing these days.

Thank you kindly for your messages of kindness. I sincerely appreciate you all taking the time.
My nans brothers funeral is on Wednesday in Cornwall and then my neighbours funeral is on Friday in MK. It's all felt a bit weird really. I don't think it's fully sunk in properly as such. My nans brother is the first of their generation to pass away and with my nan being diagnosed with a hole in her heart a few weeks ago I think it's worried us a bit, even though the hospital say they will monitor her and said she should be okay.

I've only managed one assignment this week when normally I average 2 per week but I think my tutor is okay about it (it's a home study course) I've spent so much time over the past few months watching crime related programmes and researching a multitude of crimes and murders. I kept meaning to come on here and always ended up consumed with research, but I will make more effort now. A few weeks after starting my course I was evening dreaming of trying to detain criminals etc  Thankfully my dreams have settled down now :) I haven't flown for over a year now and I really want to but my finances are not sufficient for it at the moment.
Remember how the runway lights looked one night long ago when you were lost and found your way, and how-you still dont know?

Just recovering from a bad throat and respiratory infection in time to fly off this weekend and go cruising round the Caribbean - woo hoo.
I am going to swim with Dolphins whilst there. Very Excited. Will have a few cocktails and think of you all. 8)

Oo Bel, you lucky thing. Can't you pop me in your suitcase? Pack my shell in some bubble wrap.

That sounds exciting - you'll have to tell us which part when you come back.

I'll try to screw up my life as much as possible while you're away, and then we can talk about it when you get back :D

I'm back! I went to Karnataka and Kerala. My mother is from the northeast, I'd never been that south before. The food is amazing, but they're not so good at paneer and curds are sour rather than sweet.

Met my partner's family, including his identical twin. They're easy to tell apart (the twin has longer hair, an earring and wears shorts) so it takes a while to realise that they're completely identical. I was emailing my parents to let them know I'd arrived safely and my partner asked me something. Except that when I turned to answer him, he hadn't asked me anything, it was the twin. I screamed. You would too, honestly. I had already memorised the locations of all my partner's moles so was easily able to avoid any identical-twin-style pranks, which they've tried before, both apparently being the evil twin.

I find the match.com adverts the most annoying of all. No, I don't want to imagine that everyone on this tube carriage is single. That sounds like a nightmare. You're probably better off with your long lost biological brother...

I'm off on my holidays on Saturday! Going away for 2 weeks with my boyfriend (did I mention that I have a boyfriend now...? :) ) and we're going interrailing, wooo!

We fly to Milan on Saturday then it's Venice - Zagreb - Budapest - Bratislava - Prague then fly home. I'm so excited! :)

You lucky thing, Rufio (why isn't there a 'jealous' smiley? :-? ).

I think I might look into interrailing.
