Just thought i'd post a message of condolence for the two police constables killed in Manchester. RIP. Sleep well. :(
This comes 2 days after I submitted my own application to join my local police.

My Nan died tonight, after a long struggle with dementia. I feel really guilty about not seeing her so often but it was hard to see her when she didn't really remember.

Sorry to hear that, Skarlet :(
These mountains that you are carrying, you were only supposed to climb.

Dementia is horrible.
I think you have to try to concentrate on your relationship and the memories of it when your nan was still herself.
Try not to beat yourself up I think it's perfectly natural not to want to see someone you love deteriorate and as you say yourself she didn't really remember anyway.
