Christmas 2013

Postby peecee » Mon Dec 09, 2013 11:16 pm

It's nearly here! :o

Ok, we know it's not always as simple/"perfect childhood" as we'd like it to be... :D but does anyone want to share their plans/excitement/moans/sadness on PP?

All thoughts and opinions welcome.

How odd! I did exactly the same, 10 days ago 8) Sometimes you've got to.

That's very brave of both of you!! I hope it all works out for the best :)

I'm doing the family Christmas a normal. Jamming 5 of the 7 kids into one house for a few days, that can only be fun right? :)

Actually it does sound rather fun, from an outsider's perspective anyway, Rufio.

I'll go to my mum and stepdad's like I always do. My brother and his children will be there too and we always have quite a nice day.

Wow, there must be something in the air. Congratulations! You wouldn't have done it if it weren't the right thing to do. Life is too short for jobs that suck.

Thanks rufio. Good luck with the kids, I hear they're exhausting!

...and just in time to wish brfc a Happy Birthday - not long now, you'd better stick around, brfc! :P

btw, how old is your littl'un now? When you get to my age, the time whizzes past and you keep forgetting things (fortunately, you still remember where the freezer is, and what's in it  )

Peecee's freezer is always here, BRFC. It's a walk-in one and so huge, I've always wondered if that's where C S Lewis got the idea for Narnia from... :-k

Actually, I got the idea from Snail - instead of bookshelves, she's got chocolate shelves, where all the slabs sorry bars of chocolate are organised by name, weight, origin, number of squares per slab, numbers of bites before they're all gone, number of bites already taken - excellent idea, but she got so carried away when she installed the shelves that she forgot to leave room for a bed, so she has to sleep on the stairs. :o

Oh, you just don't realise exactly how SPECIAL the PP admins are...

ps - brfc, isn't it time you posted some up-to-date pics of the littl'un? :D

Sounds like everyone has lovely Christmases planned! Mine should be ok really I think, there's lots of fun when all the siblings are together, but it also means tensions are high!! It will be nice to see my sister though, and get everyone together. I also plan to gain about 6 stone over the next 2 weeks.
