Re: Think I messed it up with new guy..!

Why does he think you'll go back to your ex ? Has it even spoken about?

Not sure what to say other than to be honest with yourself that you are over your ex and don't want him back. It's not fair to string this new guy along otherwise.

If you are over your ex give it another go with the new bloke. Text him saying can we start afresh and go from there.

Sounds to me like you are having a great time but definitely not in the right head space to get into a relationship. If you are honest with the new guy (and yourself) about that from the start, then life will be a lot less fraught. Obviously I dont know the ins and outs, but from your story it sounds like he was quite keen, but deep down you are not ready for more than just fun. If you are meeting lots of guys and having a great social life, maybe just enjoy that for a while, don't get serious with anyone and eventually the right thing will come along. Just because the Iranian guy was fun, and then respectful, doesn't mean he is 'the' guy. Its ok to enjoy the attention, so long as they know where you are coming from. Good luck

Hmm, sounds like the jealous/worried type. A chill guy would say 'Cool! Have a good time in Paris'.
