How to get boyfriend interested in sex

Postby Rarity » Thu Oct 15, 2015 3:01 am

Title says it all really... We've been together about 9 months and he means the world to me. But he doesn't seem to be interested in sex very much... When we first got together we were all over each other, but now it can be up to two weeks sometimes before he seems to be bothered. I try everything I can but he's really hard to "get in the mood", and if I tell him I want him he usually just laughs it off and carries on wit what he's doing. It hurts. I have a very high sex drive, and would happily have sex every day, but I understand he isn't as highly driven as me. But still... 2 weeks is too long for me. He's told me about some of the stuff he used to get upto with old.girlfriends, using toys, being tied uo/blindfolded, dressing up. But with me it's usually just quick doggy style and it's over. I'm not very confident with my body, as having a child has left me with that horrible "pouch" on my belly which I'm really self conscious about. He says it doesn't bother him and that he loves my body, but u can't help but feel a bit rejected when I know what he used to get upto with his ex. Why doesn't he want to do that stuff with me? I've thought about dressing up and surprising him, but I don't dare incase he turns it down. I would be so.embarrassed and hurt... Nothing seems to turn him on and I'm too scared of rejection to be anymore forward than telling him when I'm in the mood. I feel so hurt by it, and feel like I maybe can't compare to some of his exes. Just wondered if anyone had any ideas on how to get him to want me more, or to make myself more confident so he might feel like he wants to try some naughty stuff with me too?

Try very hard not to make an issue out of his lack of interest, a mans sex drive often changes and the general trend is for it to decline earlier. For whatever reason the problem is likely to be fear of failure and the frustration that would cause you both, there are a myriad of other reasons for reduced sex drive and you probably have considered most of them, if your relationship in general is good your body is not likely to be the reason.
Obviously make yourself attractive and available but don't pressure him and don't show disappointment when there is no response, if the reason is a decline in sex drive then Viagra will transform your sex life, you can get an online prescription all very discrete.

How old is your kid? I'm assuming not very old, but this could well be a factor in it?
