The "What's everybody listening to..." topic

Postby Fidel » Thu Jan 06, 2005 5:34 pm

Is there any real point to this topic? Can we not all just accept that we have different music tastes? We could have a musical discussion but frankly, listing what music you're listening to is neither meaningful nor interesting
Last night I dreamt that somebody loved me.

I never bother with that topic myself, but the amount of pages it has shows that loads of other people do, and obviously quite like it.

The topic is regularly culled of posts since there's little long-term benefit of retaining the posts. The topic enables people to see what other people are interested in and in this way come together, which is beneficial for this support-giving online community. The topic has nothing to do with promoting one genre of music over another, but is just one of many topics we have that enable members to see what fellow members are up to while at the keyboard. If the topic is of little interest to you then just ignore the existence of it.

Its one of those threads that just lets you post a random bit of useless info without getting too deep, helps to keep everyone involved.

I was being ironically pedantic as it irritates me when people do that. There's colloquialisms, accepted abbreviations but that's just plain laziness

We're all guilty of spelling mistakes, and you can't really knock lilmissespana since the majority of her posts have perfect spelling and grammar.

This is a discussion topic about the highlighted topic, okay?
