It started with a "Psychological Test"...

Postby Jo » Tue Mar 25, 2003 8:29 pm

Here is a bit of fun, sent to me by a friend. Apparently this is a real psychological test - but even if it isn't - its still interesting...

At the funeral of her mother, a girl met a guy whom she did not know. She thought he was amazing, she believed him to be her dream guy, so much so that she fell in love with him there and then...

A few days later the girl killed her own sister.

Question: What is her motive in killing her sister?

Remember that this is not a typical lateral thinking puzzle...there's not any hidden information or anything like that.

Will post the answer in a few days...

Could it be that the sister got the guy that the girl liked? and the girl killed her in revenge?
there are many possible answers this is the most obvious one i can think of that other people will think of too .

Yeah, I thought the same as you shz. Or it could be that she hasn't seen a sister for a while and the man is her husband/boyfriend?

Was the sister responsible for the death of her mother?? I know it's not related to the bloke, but I thought it might be one of those weird ones....?

I also thought that maybe they were identical twins, so she wanted to get rid of the person who was her biggest competition.....

I'm rubbish at these - this is gonna bug me all day...

Aww, don't say you feel dumb!

It isn't a riddle and there aren't any hidden clues as to the answer. The point is that the answer you come up with is supposed to reveal something about your personality.

Most people come up with a certain type of answer, but there is one answer that very few people come up with - but some do - and the fact that they have given that answer is supposed to reveal something about their mind or personality.

Think of it as being like one of those ink blot tests, you can see what you want in the ink blot, but what you do see reveals something about the way you think.

So far everyone has come up with the usual type of answers...

Answer : "She was hoping that the guy would appear at the funeral again"

If you answered this "correctly", you think like a psychopath.

next!

This is a most unusual paragraph. How quickly can you find out
what is so unusual about it? It looks so ordinary you'd think
nothing was wrong with it - and in fact, nothing is wrong with
it. It is unusual though. Why? Study it, think about it, and you
may find out. Try to do it without coaching. If you work at it
for a bit it will dawn on you. So jump to it and try your skill
at figuring it out. Good luck - don't blow your cool!
