Private message - not sending

Postby arwen » Wed Mar 02, 2005 5:29 pm

I'm trying to pm another user but the message is in my outbox and doesn't seem to have been sent. This was ages ago so surely it should be in my sent box by now? I've tried twice now but it just won't leave my outbox. Help please!

Is the other users inbox full?

I doubt it because they're a new user.

Does it only go into your sentbox after they have read it, or should it leave your outbox straight away?

I think it only goes into your sentbox after they have read it, so it could be that s/he hasn't read the message yet.

To echo what moose has said, a message will stay in your outbox until the other person has read it and only then will it move to your sentbox.

:)
When you reach for the stars, you may not quite get them, but you won't come up with a handful of mud either.

Just remember to keep smiling!
