What should I pack? Paris Holiday

Postby Cat Queen » Tue Jul 08, 2003 8:40 pm

Hiya! Going to Paris with my boyfriend on the 15th of August this year. What should I pack??!! I`ve never been abroad before, my first time! 8) My birthday is on the 17th of August, so any pressies or cards I`ll get when I come home! :) Is there any travel essentials to bring?

HI hun,
I went abroad for MY first time last year...I hope your experience turns out better then mine... :( . Anyways, it'd help if I knew how long you were going for! I was supposed to go for a month, and since things are kind of expensive over there, try to bring your own stuff like toothpaste, shampoo and that stuff to last you your trip, but you haveto becareful, becasue they do allow only a certain amount of luggage per person on charter flights. And even though it's summer where you are, still bring lots of warm clothes...I ended up having to buy a lot of pants and sweaters nad thigns because I was so cold all the time. Good walking shoes are a must as well. If you're a picture taker, a black and white film is great! I have AMAZING pictures in blakc and white...very cool. I can't really think of anything else at the moment... but hey...have fun eh!

Sun tan lotion, clothes, sumery ones that is. Take a jacket in case it rains though. Travel adaptors, Euros or travellers cheques. Make sure you have holiday insurance as well and most of all enjoy yourself. Dont know if they still allow you to take meat products abroad - Foot and mouth. But check anyway.

Your passports a good one to remember!

I went to paris just before my 15th.
Near the famous places you get lots of street sellers, trust me you can get the stuff cheaper in the shop, i learned the hard way.
Comfortable walking shoes essential, And just a quick tip: keep hold of your bag when out and about!

Plus dont forget the condoms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
