Movie clips can become reality....

Postby Cat Queen » Tue Aug 05, 2003 7:56 pm

Hi Guys. Today I went to a bridal shop, Just being curious. The two assisstants where chatting and looking all posh and snobby.
I must admit I wasn`t dressed to impress, my tattoo`s where on show, and I hadn't any make up on. My Hair was a mess too!

But I didn`t deserve the way I was treated!
I asked for a catolougue, which she said they didn`t do cause it was a private company! Then I asked to look around, She seemed to block my path with her presence.
She then asked what type of dress I was looking for and when the wedding was.
When I replied did they have any long sleave ones, And it was in a year or two, She says " Oh there out of fashion, they`d had worn them years ago!! I can did one out from the basement and give you it for nothing"

What Cheek!!!! :x

I just felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman trying to get a dress!!

The way she looked at me like I was trash.
Although I can say HER BREATH STANK!!!!

Anyone else had a movie seem to be in your life?

Was that the one near the bus stop. I went there and they were rubbish.

The only time i felt like in a movie was top gun. That was when i passed out of my training and we had jets overhead and it was brill. No kelly McGillis though...

Nah, different one. These people think they are high and almighty and make you feel small by not spending thousands on a dress. They need to get out more... Look there's the sun! :D

Has anyone noticed how snobs always have stinky beathe!

Its a shame you dont live here, theres a brilliant wedding dress shop, i got mine there and it was in the sale from £500 to £365 It was short sleeved though. They have some brill designs.

I felt like rachael in friends, when her baby took ages to come out. I was in labour for 24 hours. It was worth it though. :D

I'm very sorry for you Cat Queen
My friend just got married and when she was looking at dresses, all the bridla shoppe ladies treated her like dirt. She was only 18 at the time, and none of htem took her seriously. Even the huge diamond ring on her finger wasn't enough to convince them that she was for real. The annoying part for her was that they all thought I was the one that wanted to try on dresses.
Anyways, I hope the next time you head inot a shoppe, they'll be nicer to you.
Oh, and no, I haven't ever felt like I was playing part of a movie, but I've always felt that they could make a movie out of my life. There's been more earth shattering events happen to me then in a typical George Lucas film.
