Eating a whole tub of ice cream, and licking the tub out - AND making slurping noises.
Eating biscuits on "his" side of the bed, then moving back onto your side, to avoid the crumbs
Playing your one, favourite CD track 15,000,000 times without anyone clutching their head and banging it against the wall
Ignoring the washing up, because you've got enough clean mugs to last a month.
Spending evenings on PP, because there's nobody to tell you off about it! :P

To quote Moose, Not that I do :^o

These are the reasons I love being single

Not having to wipe up spills around the toilet pan
Not having to remind someone to put the toilet pan lid down and FLUSH!!!
Not having to clean up stubble from the sink
Not having to explain why you don't want to have a chat
Not having to share the remote control
Not having to worry about what time you get in

Reasons to love being single

- Fart and burp whenever you feel like it
- Get dressed whenever you feel like it
- Not having to worry about waking up looking like a monster
- Sleep hugging the blanket
- Don't have to clean up your room as much
- Can be a slobbish as you like
- Watch pathetic telly programs and sob/laugh at them
- Go out with mates
- Flirt with all the guys
- Can kiss your girl mates without him getting jealous
- Don't have to lend money out!

Just split up with bf a few hours ago... :-?

I've been single for almost a year and I like it!!!

Yeah ok so I'm on the lookout now but for the past year I've found my independence! Way hey!

Its nice to realise that I don't NEED a man, occasionaly want (for the obvious) But don't NEED!

I have got by perfectly well on my own! I've found my friends again and they've welcomed me back into the fold! (they never liked my ex anyway)!

Ok, so yeah one day I'm going to meet someone and hopefully fall in love again! As has been said before, surely I'll be more attractive as a outgoing, independant women who knows her own mind and has her own life! \:D/
Just remember, nobody can make you feel inferior without your permission. :D x

I feel a lot happier now I am single! I can go and see my friends when I like, I can think what I like, wear what I like and do what I like! I have no one grinding me down, no one shouting at me and no one ripping me to shreads. I am the happiest I have been in a long time!
I don't think I will get in to another relationship for a while, this time I am going to make 100% that the guy is right before commiting again. For the time being I am very happy and chilled, everything in my life has improved. No more men for me! (for a while at least!)
xxx :)

:o Sounds like you've had some bad experiences... that doesn't sound like any kind of healthy relationship to me, to be fair... I don't blame you for choosing to stay single.

I know this is really old...but having just come out of a 3 year relationship I feel the need to bump it, if just to preserve my sanity by writing it down.

Coming home from work and putting my PJ's on.
Not cancelling with my friends because he/she want's to do something.
Not getting a hard time for wanting to sit and read all afternoon.
Not having to spend loads of money to go and see him.
Getting to watch Eastenders. :o
Not having to spend time with people who's company I don't enjoy.
Not having to cook meat (I'm a vegetarian)
No one having a go at me about little stupid things.
Not having to be worried that he would be angry with me for things that were beyond my control (the train being late for example)

I realise that these are quite specific things so even if no one agrees with them, or even reads them, it's helping me to get things written down.

HLC, I like eastenders but I normally prefer to catch the omnibus. Annoyingly they changed it from sunday to friday night at silly o'clock.
Seems weird that your ex was weird about the train being late.

Have they? I didn't even notice that! How silly having it on a Friday...just after the normal episode.

Yeah he was a bit strange about things like that. I used to get so worried that he'd be cross with me. Once he was really angry with me because I had a song missing from an album on my iPhone (the file got corrupted). He shouted at me for not fixing it. :(

The omnibus was changed about a month or two ago. It is now on friday nights at about midnight.

Thats odd. Sounds like you are better off without him then really :)
